Elephant in the Room I you are impatient, quit now.  It is the honest truth.  Building a blog is synonymous with building a business.  Similar to having a baby, the first year will be the most difficult.  The first year requires the most care and support.  Many may have been aware of this when they decided to create their blog yet there are few that actually consider this before calling it quits. The Burn Out You will burn out.  It happens to the best of us.  You will start off very excited about your net blog, and the adrenaline will lead you to write high quality posts on a consistent basis.  Pace yourself my friend.  That hard work will catch up with you and you will crash.  When you crash you probably will not have much to show for the 6 months, or so, of hard work that you put in and like many bloggers around the world, you will give up.
