How Long Does It Take To Make Money Blogging?

Elephant in the Room
I you are impatient, quit now.  It is the honest truth.  Building a blog is synonymous with building a business.  Similar to having a baby, the first year will be the most difficult.  The first year requires the most care and support.  Many may have been aware of this when they decided to create their blog yet there are few that actually consider this before calling it quits.

The Burn Out
You will burn out.  It happens to the best of us.  You will start off very excited about your net blog, and the adrenaline will lead you to write high quality posts on a consistent basis.  Pace yourself my friend.  That hard work will catch up with you and you will crash.  When you crash you probably will not have much to show for the 6 months, or so, of hard work that you put in and like many bloggers around the world, you will give up.

Overcome
After the burn out session, you will ask yourself what you did wrong.  Was everyone lying about the amount of money they claimed to generate by blogging? The answer is no, they did not lie and you are part of the reason why persistent bloggers are able to make money.  The following that you were able to generate in your 6-short months of blogging will be left searching for new blogs to visit since you have decided to give up.
The mistake that you most likely made was your failure to do your homework.  Take another look at blogging and treat it like a course this time around.  Do a week strait of researching as opposed to jumping into posts right away!
