  • To find long tail keywords go to Google Adwords and select Tools and then select Keyword Planner.
  • Select Search for new keyword and ad group ideas.  Submit multiple keywords and you will most likely get a list that looks like this:

  • This is a broad overview and will not be useful.  Select the 'Ad Group Ideas' list that best describes your target audience
  • The tool will generate a list of keywords that are related to the ad group you selected.  Identify relevant keywords, keeping a close-eye for high search volume keywords with low competition, these keywords are the best to use for effective content marketing
