5 Social Media Marketing Tips

ONE
How responsive are you? Do you only use your social media platform to promote? Or do you monitor your Twitter, Facebook, etc. account to ensure that you are responding to any customer questions.

TWO
Share images on Twitter.  People respond more to images than to text advertisements.  Use your resources to design effective advertisements.  DaFont.com offers great fonts and you can do a Google Image search for the perfect pic.  Canva is a great website to help you create advertisements.  Vistaprint recently introduced Social Postcards to also help you with your digital ads.

THREE
Know your brand.  Are you on your social media account sharing and commenting on topics that have nothing to do with your brand or are you making posting relevant information about your industry.

FOUR
Share your advertisement more than one time.  How about all the people that were not online when you initially shared your advertisement? There are individuals that are unable to get online for an entire day, you have to create multiple opportunities for everyone to see your ads/content.

FIVE
Do not over integrate between your social media platforms.  Why would I visit your Facebook page if it is exactly like your blog and it offers the exact same content as your Twitter account?  Integration is effective to a certain extent.  Remember that each social media setting offers something that another social media option does not.  Are you completely comfortable with text ads on Pinterest considering the fact that Pinterest was created for photo sharing?
